Nodes
Secondary nodes measure targets from other locations and report back to the main node. They only need outbound HTTPS access.
| Node | Status | Location | Last seen | Version | Address | Targets |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Ranger (main node) | online | Amsterdam | now | b296950 | 1527 | |
| status.greybull.cloud (Scaleway WAW2) (waw2-scaleway) | online | Warsaw | 13s ago | 31d1e85 | 2001:bc8:1d90:2ce8:dc00:ff:fe33:b5fa | 1527 |

Add a node
- On this main node, register the node:
smokingping node add tokyo
It prints a token and the install command. - On the secondary host, run the printed command, e.g.:
curl -fsSL https://ikwilvanmijnicmpaf.nl/smokingping/install.sh | sudo sh -s -- --token spn_…
or with Docker:docker run -d --name smokingping-agent --restart unless-stopped \ -e SMOKINGPING_SERVER=https://ikwilvanmijnicmpaf.nl/smokingping -e SMOKINGPING_TOKEN=spn_… \ docker.gitlab.bouwhuis.net/nick/smokingping agent
- Let targets use it in the configuration, e.g.
nodes: [tokyo]on a target or group (ornodes: ["*"]for all nodes).
